Hi, I’m Kelsea Moyers — the heart, hands, hype woman, and occasional chaos coordinator behind 314 Beauty Haven.

 

I’m a small-town girl from Southeast Missouri, the oldest of three sisters, a single mom, and an entrepreneur who learned early on how to juggle a lot… usually with coffee in one hand and dry shampoo in the other.

 

Like many people, I did the “right thing” first. I earned a college degree, checked the boxes, and quickly realized I was wildly unfulfilled. So I did what any sane person would do — I followed my heart straight into cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell in Springfield, Missouri. And just like that, everything clicked.

I graduated in 2015 and jumped headfirst into building my own business with one very clear mission:

Create a space where people feel seen, safe, celebrated, and dang good about themselves.

That vision has taken me places I never imagined — literally. From traveling the world for weddings to being asked to style for New York and Paris Fashion Week, this little Southeast Missouri girl somehow made it big. Along the way, I’ve been voted St. Louis Top Bridal Makeup Artist, Top Hair Extension Stylist, and featured in St. Louis Magazine, Saint Louis Bride, Beauty Mute, Canvas Rebel, and Voyage — plus picked up a few awards I still pretend are “no big deal” (they are).

 

But here’s the real heart of it.

As a single mom of two daughters, I know how easy it is to put yourself last. I know what it’s like to run on empty, show up for everyone else, and forget that you deserve care too. That’s why 314 Beauty Haven isn’t just a salon.
